Introducing Louie, a curly fleecy black medium Labradoodle, he was successfully adopted by an allergic family. This coat shouldnt shed too much hopefully though his ears do need a bit of plucking.

" Louie on the move...he loves the water!"

Latest update - " Thought I'd try to send you some more photos of Louie. His coat is so soft- sheds just a little and only small lumps of wool - not air-bound so no problem at all. His coat has a bronze tint to it - from his daddy I suspect. "

" Further update: Louie was fantastic whilst we were away. No problems at all with kenneling. He raced back in to see the kennel maid! Started puppy training recently- what a laugh! Louie is like a big cuddly teddy bear compared to the other puppies in his age group!"

" His ears are not too bad- they don't seem too hairy- he's not particularly keen on the plucking but will tolerate a bit- quite happy with a wet wipe and a gentle but firm rub though! I'll send you a few more photos one by one- he's difficult to capture on camera as he is always on the move "

" Just a couple more of Louie. The grass is a bit parched but Louie has coped fine with the hot weather. He passed his 4-day kennel experience with flying colours a few weeks ago- I think he had special treatment because he was the baby! Now for the real thing as we go on our main holiday tomorrow.. His coat is turning out beautifully. Not a sign of any shedding to date. Hope you are all well. Bye for now "

"He is following us around like a little lamb which is adorable. He seems very playful and happy. The only whimpers and crys we have had has been bedtime. We decided to go for it and left him alone in his crate (except for his new cuddly toys- one is a black panther the same size as his siblings), we warmed his bed with a hot water bottle. He cried quite a bit but we all got through the night with not too much of a problem. A bit if advice though please- he keeps tugging at the vetbed- so much so that I have had to cover it with a blanket as he was pulling it so fiercely- why? No sign at all of allergy problems I'm glad to report. We have already introduced him to a few rain drops and Alfie our rabbit- Louie was marvellous although Alfie was less impressed- he was a little scared. We will gradually help them make friends as Alfie is usually a friendly bunny who likes our company. I've attached a few photos but it is difficult to capture him as he is always on the move- will send more when I become more expert. Thanks again "

"Louie is very much part of the family as we knew he would be. No allergy problems at all. Will send you more information on him with photos if you wish. Bye for now and thank you for everything"

" Hi Lisa Just thought I would let you know how our first 24 hours have gone... Louie (as has now been decided by the children- not the classical spelling though!) was impeccably behaved on the way home. We decided not to stop unless necessary- it took us just over three hours and he was fantastic. He nestled between (names omitted)- no "accidents" or fuss at all. We used the newly acquired RAC drink bottle- which was simple and worked a treat. On arrival home, we hurriedly put a puppy pad in the centre of the kitchen which he promptly used with much praise from all four of us! - Unfortunately he is now regularly returning to this spot to do his business. Should had read your care instructions on the way home! We have now moved his puppy pad to the back door and although he has christened several new areas (!) he has had several successes and near misses. I'm sure we will get there in the end. He signals by sniffing the floor -we just have to be quicker. He seems to do rather alot! He's very bright and bouncy and already seems to be responding to his name. He had plenty to drink and some of his food although he didn't seem to bothered with the later. He kept returning for a few nibbles but never had a complete meal"
