" Hi Lisa please send Toffee a belated birthday hug from Colin and us, wow 2 years old doesn't time fly, did she get any prezzies?  Colin didn't as he ate this woman's glove and it was part of a set, so I told him it was being paid for out of his birthday treat, so he got diddly squat.  I had the last laugh though watching him passing it, his face was a picture, did think of washing it and giving it back ha.
Will update you with a year old picture of him soon. Hope all ok with you

Well a 7mth update on me:

"I've had my bits off and didn't feel a thing, in fact I run out the vets to my mom, the worst thing was not being let off my lead for 10 days after the opp so I found lots of socks to chew on, must admit my mom and dad are tidier now. I have now learnt to swim and everyday go swimming in the sea,(see photos). Last week a little dog was having a dip, I wanted to show him that I too could swim, I ran in and landed on top of him, he went right under, came up spluttering like mad but he was all right, he runs off now when he see's me!!. I love the last dip much to my mum and dads annoyance cause I'm still wet when I get in the car Ha Ha. I found a little dog chasing his ball the other day still with his lead on and decided to run off with him I ran round for ages and really tired him out before I was caught, funny haven't seen the dog around since hope he's ok!!

. My best friend is Sadie she's a boxer, and my next door neighbour, we are always hanging over the fence chatting, (secretly I think she fancies me)

I now go to clicker training, Jess the trainer thinks I'm really clever, I do everything she commands, I DO CONFESS sometimes I act dumb (you get more treats that way).

Must admit everyone pays me loads of attention, and I always have an audience when I go swimming, I stand in the sea ( me mom thinks i'm having a pee) an then woosh im off, and when i get out of the water I find the nearest person to shake over, Ha Ha that clears them.

Well don't you think I look as handsome as my dad Curly? I do.
Gotta go now, just spotted a pair of shoes that haven't been put away Yummmmy

When he was a tiny he was a very expressionate little pup. Like many labradoodles his eyes and facial expressions appeared very human-like. His new mum had fallen in love with my boy Curly and requested a mini version of him but with lower maintenance coat. Colin's little face and mannerisms reminded me so much of his father that I knew which puppy was "Colin" almost from the minute he opened his eyes!

btw - Colin's book recommendation for the months is WHY DOES MY DOG...?  by John Fisher. His mum says "it is brilliant so well written, had me in fits in the airport as I could relate allot of it to Colin, and it makes so much sense to anyone who wants to train their dog. Anyhow its number 1 on my book list"

Previous updates:

" doing fabulously, he sits and gives you his paw now, you really picked a great pup for us - we are so pleased. He's chasing the cats but it's getting better, he's peeing outside when he remembers, and his favorite toy is a quacking duck. Off to the vets on Sat for 2nd injection. The other day we sat up the top of the garden and in the sun he looks like Curly's mum Coco Pops"

"Colin is doing very well, and growing like mad, he's got very leggy at the moment, with huge feet. he's got a beard, and the top of his head the hair is about 2inches long and he looks funny when we give him a parting. Still everything is going in his mouth"

"It sounds like everything Toffee does Colin does too, he does make us laugh though. His hair around his eyes is quite long should he have a trip to the hairdressers now as there is no way he would keep still enough to give him a trim, though might try when he's tired and half asleep"
