"Buffy"

"Buffy is settling in well - he is having much fewer accidents in the house now which makes such a difference.  All I seemed to do the first week or so was clean up little accidents.  However we are making wonderful progress with him and he is a joy to have in the house and is causing much laughter with us.  He is quite a character.  He has had his final set of vaccinations and will be able to go for a walk outside as of Tuesday.  The vet was very impressed with him, especially his colour - she said most of the labradoodles coming into her surgery were either black or brown so the cream and gold was really lovely to see.  He behaved so well at the vet - we were all very proud of him. He is eating well and is now down to one porridge meal in the morning.  The poor boy will be devasted when his porridge is finished.  He sits on command and is especially good at sitting for his food.  We are currently teaching him to give us his paw. We are starting puppy classes the first week in August  - the class uses the progressive 'clicker' training.  My friend went to her with her Labrador and thoroughly recommends her.  The dog trainer lady asked where we got Buffy from and, when I mentioned you were a member of the ILA, she said she was aware of you through one of her associates down South and that you were highly thought of as a labradoodle breeder. My eldest son, Craig,  is in absolute awe of Buffy.  However, Logan (the younger one) is still adjusting to the new arrival and gets a little jealous of the attention paid to Buffy. I have attached some photos of Buffy to let you see he is alive and well!  Hope all Buffy's brothers and sisters have found nice homes"

Buffy is a medium labradoodle (labrador x curly), the porridge mentioned above is a special blend of doggy milk and ground meat we use, it can come home with pup to replace mum's milk. It helps to settle pup at night-time and provides security and stability during a time of many changes. They absolutely LOVE this porridge and have no issues about eating in new home, if you add this into their meals.

"Puppy was very good in the car.  Pined for a short while after we left the house and then fell asleep.  Woke at the service station and had a healthy appetite, slept the rest of the way.  Home now and tidying up the house after being away.  Puppy is rather restless and a little upset but he has eaten well and also had a drink.  Boys absolutely adore him, even the two year old although he did tell puppy that Thomas the Tank Engine was 'mine.'  Think he will make a perfect addition to the family!   I think a name has been agreed too.....Buffy!"
