Summer 2009+

We are taking names for labradoodles, cockapoos and goldendoodles Summer 2009 onwards.

IF YOU WANT TO RESERVE A PUP THEN E-MAIL lisa on ukdoodles@aol.com or call 02920 515171

If you are interested in adopting a Labradoodle in the next 12 months then you should e-mail us (ukdoodles@aol.com). We will send you more information and then we speak to prospective families and go through the sizes, coats, generations and characteristics.

doodleDogs pups are:

  • Adopted no earlier than 8 weeks old.
  • Raised in a family environment, played with by children, adults and cat. They are socialised and have car/crate training.
  • Vet checked thoroughly - eyes, jaw, heartbeat etc with vet record.
  • Vaccinated with DHPPI and Lepto (a comprehensive all-in-one, not simply Parvo) - this first vaccine provides pup with some protection for the journey home.
  • Microchipped and registered
  • Spayed/Neutered or subject to a neuter/spay agreement - more information available on spay/neuter page . If you want to breed from your labradoodle then you need to tell us this so we can make this decision with you.
  • Wormed every 2 weeks (mum is wormed additionally during pregnancy to minmise infection) and we provide 5ml Drontal Wormer liquid for 10 weeks old
  • "Frontlined" and/or "Strongholded" for flea/tick protection
  • Bathed, groomed, nail trimmed, teeth cleaned - it is important that puppies get used to standing on a grooming table and being tidied. They should also be familiar with the sound of Oster clippers at early age in case grooming is necessary (particularly Multi-Gen doodles with long wool/fleece coats)
  • Puppies are also taken for a car journey with mum, BEFORE they make their trip home - hopefully this reduces the stress (and vomit/dribble) on leaving
  • 6 weeks health insurance for vets bills - we use Petplan (see page on pet insurance)
  • Pen bedding to help with settling on the first night away

In addition new adoptive parents are provided with:

  • Vet book showing health checks and vaccination and any treatment given
  • Caresheet with advice on fleas, food, ear care, etc
  • Microchip documentation - we pay for registeration

The price for the pups depends on parentage, generation and coat - price includes the cost of spay/neuter, first vaccination, microchip, wormer routine and their 10 week dose, Frontline/Stronghold treatment, 6 weeks health insurance and some food. A Fleece or Wool coated pup are the more expensive types.
