Scruffy Labradoodles

First Crosses (F1) are Labrador x Poodle - they tend to be much larger than a Labrador. If the Standard Poodle dad is substituted for a Miniature Poodle ("Mini F1") then the size is approximately 15-20 inches. If Labrador x Curly, then pups are medium (roughly 19-20 inches).

Options are (a) F1 Standard,(b) F1 Mini or (c) Labrador x Curly.

Labradoodles have oodles of scruff-appeal with a fantastic family temperament and low maintenance coat. Try the Photo Gallery and look at scruffy cream, scruffy chocolate and scruffy black puppies and read individual puppy profiles to find out more. The pups below are medium sized labradoodles (labrador x Curly)

Low-gen labradoodles are unpredictable in coat type. It is very likely that hairs will drop. They are both low maintenance for grooming and make excellent family pets. They are generally the scruffy doodles - their coats can be hairy or sometimes they are curlier with hairy/coarse patches. Whilst unpredictable fortunately there are indicators at birth so we get an idea of how coats will develop. This type of Labradoodles are NOT always non-shedding or hypo-allergic or asthma friendly. However, we have placed many pups with people allergic and sensitive to dogs especially those fathered by Curly but testing is required.
